Water supplying project for villages: “Gadime e eperme, Gllavice, and Marece” – Municipality of Lipjan
The water supply project for the villages of ``Gadime e eperme, Gllavice, and Marece`` in the municipality of Lypjan had a primary objective of ensuring reliable water resources to provide qualitative and quantitative water supply to these three villages.
The project involved designing and implementing various components, including the construction of four wells, a pumping station, a water main pipe, a water storage facility with a capacity of 100m3, and a distribution network spanning approximately 10 kilometers in length.
With a population of approximately 5,000 inhabitants, these infrastructure developments aimed to meet the water needs of the beneficiaries and improve their overall quality of life. By establishing a sustainable water supply system, the project aimed to enhance access to clean and safe water, promoting the health and well-being of the communities in the targeted villages.
The project encompassed a range of vital services aimed at ensuring a reliable water supply system
It began with thorough research on available water resources, including comprehensive studies on water quantity and quality. This involved drilling experimental wells to gather valuable data and assess the viability of potential water sources.
Based on the research findings, the project proceeded with the crucial task of designing a robust and efficient water supply infrastructure. This involved developing detailed plans and specifications for the construction phase. Finally, the construction phase commenced, where the planned infrastructure was implemented, including the drilling of wells, installation of pumping stations, water treatment facilities, and the construction of pipelines.
