The project involves the supervision of construction activities for the rehabilitation of buildings belonging to the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) in various locations across the country, including Mitrovica, Skendera, Shtime, Drenas, Istog, Novoberde, and Kamenice. As a state-owned agency, the EMA plays a crucial role in supporting citizens and first responders in effectively preparing for, protecting against, responding to, and recovering from potential hazards, whether natural or human-caused. The project aimed to ensure that the EMA buildings were renovated and upgraded to meet the necessary standards and requirements.
The team provided a range of services, including day-to-day supervision activities throughout the rehabilitation work.
This involved coordinating with the design team, conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, and inspecting the workmanship, materials, and adherence to architectural plans and specifications. It was crucial to ensure that the rehabilitation project complied with all relevant laws, regulations, and building codes.
The team also took responsibility for obtaining necessary permits and approvals, facilitating inspections by regulatory agencies, and ensuring that all required documentation and certifications were obtained. Through these efforts, the project successfully contributed to enhancing the functionality and safety of the EMA buildings, supporting the agency’s mission to effectively manage emergencies and protect the well-being of citizens and first responders.
