Conceptual and Main Design “House in New Prishtina” ARCHITECTURE & URBAN PLANNING
On our first site visits, we decided to take up the challenge of designing the building with a specific use of the terrain. We were commissioned with planning a house for a single family in a growing community located in neighborhood New Prishtina area on the Prishtina suburbs. Our project incorporates the use of open space on everyday life needs throughout the seasons, by placing big openings and entrances that establish visual continuity and provide optimal ventilation.
Few morphological and concise operations guide the main form of the house. The ground floor is designed as a free-flowing space. The dining area and the living room are separated only by a fireplace. than we have one bed-room, technical space and garage for two cars.
The master suite has a direct access to the exterior terrace at East and with a exterior connection to the exterior swimming pool. Upstairs are the four bedrooms with a lot of light, a dressing room, two large bathrooms, and above the garage in the West is organized a large terrace with a good view. The surface concept is limited to the choice of only a few materials. It wants to create a flowing, calm overall impression.
