Technical and financial assessment of urban and rural water supply systems in Peja region
The main objective of the project is to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas for improvement in the existing water supply infrastructure.
The project involves conducting a comprehensive assessment of urban and rural water supply systems to evaluate their technical performance and financial viability. The main objective is to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas for improvement in the existing water supply infrastructure. Through this project, the aim is to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of the water supply systems to meet the needs of the population effectively.
The team carried out a thorough data collection process, gathering information on various aspects of the water supply systems
Data Collection and Analysis: The team carried out a thorough data collection process, gathering information on various aspects of the water supply systems. This included collecting data on water sources, treatment plants, distribution networks, storage facilities, pumping stations, metering systems, and customer service frameworks. The collected data was meticulously analyzed to gain insights into the current state of the infrastructure.
Technical Assessment: The team conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the water supply systems, assessing their condition, efficiency, and capacity. This involved analyzing infrastructure components such as pipes, pumps, tanks, and treatment units to identify any physical limitations or deficiencies. In addition, hydraulic modeling and network analysis were performed to assess the system’s hydraulic performance, water loss, pressure management, and overall operational efficiency.
